- Power: every Aiper is cordless. Dolphin's range is corded except the LIBERTY 400.
- Size ratings: Aiper rates by area and sometimes length (up to 3,230 sq ft or 100 ft on the X1 Pro Max). Dolphin rates by length: 30 ft (E10) to 50 ft (Premier, Quantum).
- Surface: the Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max skims the surface. No current Dolphin we cover does.
- Warranty: Dolphin's Premier and LIBERTY 400 carry 3 years; the X1 Pro Max also has 3. Most others in both ranges have 2.
